With the new framework, the IMDA hopes to optimise spectrum use in Singapore and better serve the needs of enterprise users and mobile services users. Employment Act Amendments Take Effect on 1 April 2019

The Singapore Employment Act is amended to keep up with evolving employment practices and workforce trends. The new amendments extend the Core Provisions (including paid annual and sick leaves, paid public holidays and wrongful dismissals) to managers and executives, increase non-workingmen's salary caps, enhance employers' flexibility and enhance the employment dispute resolution framework.
